Note to the anti's

Moth, feeling a little peeved at no mention on AZ or elsewhere, has the following for the anti's:

With the constant message that pedophiles cannot be cured, it is a sexual orientation, etc, from most of the anti's as well as from most of the professional community and believed by many pedophiles, surely you should be campaigning for pedophiles to have access to advice and therapy, for them to cope and control their attractions. Hate-filled rhetoric, which is not in limited supply on most anti websites, is hardly going to achieve that end is it? Do you really think it serves the community at large any great benefits to have all those seen as pedophiles to be labelled as monsters and perverts? Your campaigns are just as damaging to the current situation as are those pedophiles who chose to 'come-out' are to the rest of the people who have some sort of attraction to children because of the continued belief that sexual desire will be inherently dominant or even evident in their attraction. Do you think that ostracising people and pushing them to the edges of society makes your children safer? Those who perceive their lives to have little value may see others as similar. When someone's life is made to be be felt worthless they may have little hesitation in taking other people's lives along with their own when desperation finally pushes them to end it all. With the current horrific shootings at Virginia Tech I am sure I do not have to remind you of what unfocused anger can do. Fortunately I do not have any anger at all towards anyone now (but this was not always so), even when I probably have to live the rest of my life with the stigma of my past and ironically disagree with most here at GC.
