of the welfare of children is certainly much better than merely focusing on the aspects of sexual relationships when there are also so many things to deal when it comes to how children are treated and referenced as, especially in the West, like you have stated.

Even though we might disagree over the risks that child-adult sexual contact introduces, I do find your approach to be interesting, as well as very true in many of what is presented in your comments towards Explorer's inputs.

**Another big difference between sex and swimming is that starting at puberty, sex is special. This is especially true of girls and women. They may strongly desire sex, but they usually care deeply about who their partners are. A very common story is the girl who has sex believing the man has made a long-term monogamous commitment to her, but she finds he hasn't -- and she finds this extremely painful emotionally. Sex before puberty is likely to be special too, and will be reinterpreted according to the perceived motives of their partners.**

^ I do not know how to put bold letters here, so bare with me, and if I happened to make it come out as bold, just ignore this text, lol.

The notion of sex being special is also very much attributed to gender roles and the given conception society happens to have on it. Because of that, the conception about such activity could vary greatly between many individuals. However, I still find it that since it is popular, such like religious roots on different aspects of cultures are, it should not be ignored entirely, but also taking into account that such is not the case for the girls and women, even if they are more likely to experience such view towards the activity.

Taking aside that, I still believe that any kind of act of that nature should still be regarded "special" in the sense as in it should with caring individuals and not in environments were these desires can be exploitative, such as in modern societies, mostly First-World.

Thanks for your input, Edward. It is increasingly interesting for me to see the varying positions that, not only Pro-Contacts exhibit, but that also Anti-Contacts do, to the extent as in I have engaged in conversations and interactions with both sides and those that assume a Non-Contact stance.
