My personal opinion is that the numbers are much, much larger than most people think. One of these days, I will post what I've found out from my informal "research" on this topic. The attraction isn't maternal-it's partly romantic & partly (strongly) sexual, that's my experience anyway. And BTW, I have a background in history & classical studies-I've noticed that there are quite a few references to women/girl attraction in the ancient world, when I get caught up, if ever, I 'll post some of what I've found on that topic too. It's out there though, trust me, and also you would be hearing much more on this topic if there wasn't a tendency to cover up incidents of woman/girl love, when they come to light. I think it's a topic a lot of people don't want to think about.
