I love watching police/detective thrillers. My favorite is "Criminal Minds". Its always the girl lover who is sick or deranged and the relationship with an LG is portrayed as harmful. Thats only because it is a secretive relationship out of necessity. Secretive because shameful. Shame causes harm.

Right wing Christian upbringing, to me, is harmful. Yet it is seen as "normal" and even "proper". To teach children to hate people who are different and even to distrust scientific inquiry. This sort of thought is celebrated and even rewarded. it is indeed a sick society.
