Male action heros are not much more realistic. If civilization collapsed I doubt many men would be out there fighting like Rambo.

I know you don't mean it this way but I find most attacks on Hollywood female protagonist a bit harsh and mean-sprited toward girls. If a girl wants to fantasize about being Wonder Woman or some chick from the hunger games then let her. Telling her "oh no you'd be raped and put into slavery in real life!" Seems unnecessarily cruel. Like telling a girl who is excited about Christmas that Santa claus doesn't actually exist.

I know you were talking about college aged feminist and not young girls but I just don't see the point of attacking what is obviously fiction.
