A question for Moth

Moth I have to ask if you're really a pedophile because you just seem to be more of an anti-pedophile and on the side of these people who want to either lock us all up or force our desires out of us. Why is that? Are you afraid to admit that you are sexually attracted to children but would rather suppress your desires out of fear of the law? This place was created so we don't have to break the law, so if you love children why don't you go ahead and admit it? If you are not a pedophile, then I think you should try to be more understanding of our plight which is very real.

You mentioned that we blame others and are delusional, which is typical for pedophiles. So you think that blaming society for putting non-violent innocent lovers in prison, forcing sex offenders who have long paid for their crimes to be homeless, and having to hide our attractions out of fear of being beaten or killed is wrong or delusional? Yes society is at fault; we never asked to be treated like this.

And in response to your comment about mental health workers, from 10 years direct experience with them (and being a Psychology major myself) they can be extremely judgmental when it comes to pedophilia. Most psychiatrists will never treat pedophiles because of personal issues or transference, and those that do are projecting their hate of their childhood abusers onto us or are repressing their own desires. Two therapists in the program where I was have been arrested for molesting children at Youth Authority facilities. That happens a lot. So my response is that the best therapy is support from those who are like-minded instead of from people who are more mentally disturbed than their patients.
