Heh, why don't you just admit that I never had THAT much credibility to begin with. Perhaps no one does. But anyway, I stopped having ~credibility~ to most here the minute I had doubts about legalizing adult-child sex. While some won't say so out loud, many HAVE said just that. So, why should I behave in a way the larger community feels is respectable if they don't have respect for me to begin with? What incentive do I have to do so?
This is the part where the con-man rubs it in the face of his dupes. "Heh. Why don't you admit, you had no good reason to trust me in the first place? It's your own fault you got conned." And you, Todd, seem to think that the reason we don't like you anymore is because you changed your mind. Well, guess what? You can change your mind and still do the right thing. Stop making it about your new stance on adult-child sex. It's not about that. I have had my doubts too over time, and people here have continued to accept me and help me through it because I didn't steal their money. So if you think we lost respect for you because you questioned the things we believe in, no, that's not it. We welcome intelligent critiques and debate from all viewpoints. Well, maybe Dissident doesn't, but most of us do. We had respect for you, and we didn't lose it because you changed your opinion. We lost respect for you after you stole the money, because you decided that your opinion counted more than the people whose money it was in the first place. Enigma "You don't like me because I'm fat." "No, we don't care that you're fat. We don't like you because you're an asshole." |
