...you seem to accuse me of not wanting to hear the views of the opposition. Since you have been gone for awhile, let me make it clear to you why I do not go out of my way to accomodate them, as you do.

The non-choice side of the issue is the DOMINANT side in society. Hence, I hear THEIR side of the story EVERY single day I watch TV or or open up a magazine. Every time I broach this subject in public I hear a deluge of anti opinions and attitudes, with anyone who MIGHT share my opinion usually keeping quiet for obvious reasons. My point: it's IMPOSSIBLE for me NOT to hear and consider the non-choice viewpoint over and over and over again, ad nauseum. How often is the pro-choice side ever heard? NOT VERY OFTEN outside of our little pink walls. By suggesting that we shouldn't be "as loud" because it may hurt the feelings of the non-choicers among us only keeps our side of the issue that much more in the shadows.

Also, you seem to be implying that the non-choicers spout ORIGINAL rhetoric that I haven't heard numerous times before. I'll make you a deal, Enigma. When I hear one of the non-choicers actually make an ORIGINAL statement that I have not already heard thousands of times before, every single day OUTSIDE of GC as well as within it, then I will make a post about it on the board and give them CREDIT for it. I have NOT been enlightened by any of the tired stances that I hear from the non-choicers EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE, constantly, for almost 40 years now. When I hear something original from them, I'll be sure to let you know. So if you think the non-choicers are such fountains of wisdom and enlightenment, by all means LISTEN to them and DEFEND them. That is your right. But I'm going to oppose them when I see their rhetoric, sorry.


Also, I don't care if the antis take mindless pot shots against me. I expect it from the likes of Taffy and FANNINGFan. But I DIDN'T excect it from you.

You're not going to silence me nor ANY pro-choice activist here, so you're just going to have to deal with the fact that we are not going to allow ourselves to be beaten back into silence by the "peace and brotherhood" crowd of pro-choicers like the liberals did.

Considering that this has non-choicers like Taffy and FANNINGFan pissed off, that shows I'm doing my job. You go back to doing your job of slapping the activists down every time they speak. That will do wonders for you as a pro-choicer. But inspiring some of the pro-choice newbies with activism in their hearts like Griffith more than makes up for losing the respect and friendship of someone like you.
