While I can appreciate the arguments for it, as they are often quite interesting in their lack of reason, I don't fall for them much. Vaccinations are necessary as they prevent the spread of disease. This treatment could not be claimed to ever do the same, regardless of what some zealots would love to push.

The treatment is much the same as transgender operations, cosmetic surgery, and DNR orders (incidentally, I view suicide as an expressed DNR). It is something voluntary and individual, and it should be only the choice of the one wanting it.
