Pedophiles, by actual definition do not hurt children. Otherwise they are not a pedophile, but a child abuser.

Um, maybe by your definition, but to me this is a NO True Scotsman definition of pedophilia. To me, pedophilia starts and ends as a sexual attraction to children. Any time to build a moral condition into a definition like that, it ceases to be a scientifically viable definition.
