I agree, but there are heterosexuals who are rapists. It is not implicit in the definition of 'heterosexual' that one cannot be both a heterosexual and a rapist. By the same token, being a pedophile doesn't automatically disqualify one from being a child molester. I really don't see why this is controversial, even among the stretch-a-concept-till-it-snaps folks here at GC.

A pedophile is by definition a child molester.

I think what you mean is a child rapist, not a child molester.
