As pointed out in the well worth seeing documentary Are All Men Pedophiles, the average female has completed puberty by age 16, the average male by 18. While 16 is the AoC in most US states and Western countries, 18 is usually the age where there are no restrictions on sexual activity, i.e. no child porn charges and online communications restrictions, and also the more socially acceptable age. I'd say it's both misogynist and misandrist.
