Population is far from being a non issue. Whilst we in the western world have few problems in that directin, it is a major problem in some third world countries. There, starvation is rife and hundreds of children die daily because the land they live in simply cannot support them. We send in massive amounts of food aid which is still inadequate for all the needs of booming populations. We save thousands of children who grow up to produce yet more children.

Thousands more die of preventable or curable diseass such as malaria. We do save many, who again survive in order to produce yet more children who in turn will be in need of aid.

What is needed is vast increases in taxes in the western world to stop the suffering in those far off places. We all neeed to be little poorer and a little well fed so that food and medical aid can be more evenly distributed.

Who supports that?
