America and the UK are worse than other nations when it comes to this in the sense that these two places are where the pedo hysteria started, and the two powerful political entities that did everything in their power to spread it around the rest of the world.

As a result, it's now bad to varying degrees pretty much everywhere on the planet, though likely worse in the US and UK compared to anywhere else. But the US and the UK had the economic clout to get the ball rolling all over. If the hysteria started in some nation with less economic clout, it's not likely that it would have ended up all over the world as it has.
