That's my carefully constructed argument against public surveillance: it's bullshit.

Seriously though, I've never remotely agreed with the position that you have "no right to privacy" in public. So in which case, you can enjoy "privacy" sequestered in your own house/apartment/room, with the doors shut and blinds closed? That's one step above Winston Smith, who had a little corner.
