About why I think it's imperative that the CL community adopts a left-wing stance. I haven't the energy to go into it here, seeing as I have just left an exhausting debate, but check BoyChat if you're interested.

One thing I will say is that all positive social change comes from the left. The left has its issues, sure, but if we don't side with them then we have no chance of ever making any progress.

That's my belief.
