Of course I feel for the man; he lost his daughter to an evil man.

It is sad that the generalization is made between pedophiles and murderous child molesters.

Here, again, is the main reason I've been calling for us to adopt a different word to describe people like us. 'Pedophile' doesnt work because the current accepted definition does not describe us. Why are we trying to cling to that word when the mere utterance of it turns most peoples stomachs?

I dont know. My attempts to start a serious discussion about this have gone nowhere, so I dont expect anything to come of it.
