Well, frankly you will always back up your fellow moderator regardless, Infinity, but that isn't the point. Past precedent used to weigh heavily here. And past precedent was that when someone made a threat to out someone or a child they knew, then their right to privacy was negated in the process, without exception.
There was nothing conditional about it. I understand you, BB and Baldur like to stick together on original decisions, but you're still changing the rules. You can agree with him, but I am telling you what the precedent has always been. And if any old timers can point to old threads where this issue came up, it would be appreciated. I don't remember who the posters were, but it *was* discussed publicly by the moderators at that time. As I said, I'm fine with the edit since it still tells what I wanted it to. |
