Some rants.

1) Why is it that nearly every bible-thumping Christian I meet feels the need to tell me I'm going to hell after I reveal to them I'm an agnostic? Leave me the fuck alone. Keep your religion to yourself...I certainly try to keep mine to myself.

2) Why is it that the only American that can pull-off a British accent is Mike Myers and the only Brit that can pull-off an American accent is Gary Oldman?...that's pissed me off for awhile. Damn, these actors and actresses get paid millions...take some speaking lessons.

3) and finally, Why is it that the longer I stay in this country (the U.S.A.), the less I wish to return to my homeland? Is it something they put in the water? I mean damn, I now know the words to the national anthem and when I heard it at baseball game recently I got chills....and I hate patriotism that supports a government like America's. But as I sat through the game, I listened to the bloke sitting next to me verbally assault the IRS and it finally occured to me, American's are experts at separating government from their patriotism...a trait completely foreign to most of my countrymen. Think I might actually buy an American flag....Gawd the horror of it all!?!

Well, just had to get those off my chest.
