My main contention is that when you weigh lots of pedophiles who would love to do sexual things with small girls (with the best loving intentions in many cases) with a very few small girls who might really be enthusiastic about sex, the risk of abuse is far too high. Keeping it illegal is a good idea.

I don't think 'keeping it illegal' is helping reduce a girls risk of abuse; I think the opposite. I'm also not a pedophile who would love to do sexual things with small girls so I think you are making judgements without basis about US. I also think you are making judgements without basis about THEM, the small number of girls who might be enthusiastic about sex. That number is changing fast. I question YOUR hypothetical positions about that.
