What do people think about using solid research to help educate people about pedophiles really are?

I mean there's a lot of research that shows that pedophiles are normal people, everyone likely knows someone attracted to children but there's a gulf between being a pedophile and being a molestor.

Use research from respeced names such as Cambridge to people to listen.

What do people think? I don't think being militant helps but we should be more united and vocal to stem the crap that comes out of the press.
