Good research is a start, but once people have a firm belief in something facts are as likely to hurt as to help. People will do almost anything to preserve what they perceive as their identity.

Still, the facts are good to have, and some people will listen.

Militancy ... is of questionable value. Certainly the screaming and shouting sort of militancy is likely to be counterproductive. On the other hand, hostile assets that mysteriously disappear ... that's something else.
