Being an ally, when it's the 'cool' thing to do.

It's cool now to be an ally to homosexuals or other sexual minorities. It is a way for many people to say "look I am logical and compassionate!" without any of the risk it used to entail. Without having to actually put oneself on the line.
The irony is these allies of sexual minorities are very quick to attack actual allies of the still discriminated against sexualities. Specifically paedosexuality. They do the same thing bigots used to do homosexual allies etc.
When I first started siding with paedosexuals and child sexuality. I was excited, as I mentioned before. I would make points in real life. Nothing too crazy, not like online. That was my flaw and led to some personal suffering.
Online I debated people a lot and it drew the attention of some bad people. They reached out to me seeming like they wanted to debate. Acted pretty eager. Eventually this led to me using accounts too personal. They somehow contact other people I knew in real life. To get my real info by lying to them.
Then the phone calls came. To my house, to my job, my parents, my parent's jobs, other relatives. Accusing me of being a paedosexual and wanting to have sex with little girls. Also, Google searching my real name will lead to a website of theirs calling me a paedosexual supporter who is likely a paedosexual. It's been like that for a few years. Getting an attorny to get Google to remove it is expensive.
Now a lot of the "suffering" was within myself. Me overthinking and thinking things were going to end up terrible. The worst that happened was my boss asking me what it was. I told him, told him I went to the cops etc. Some family asked why that came up when they searched my name, I explained it. I never really denied my views, though I obviously denied being a paedosexual. Note that I worked with children then and was not fired or anything. Nothing really happened to me.
Now these people wanted me to be disowned from my family, to get fired, to be distraught. They wanted to harm me and tried very hard. Calls came frequently to my home. Until one day they threatened to come to my house and tell my neighbors and I said if they step foot on my property and I realize their intent I would shoot them. Now I obvously wouldn't but I was trying to let them know I meant business and it worked.
Now this is still nothing compared to what some of you may have suffered. Regardless this is much more than what most modern "allies" suffer.
I guess this is just a rant thread. I am sick of reading about all this "allies" calling themselves so merely because it is cool to do so. However I have no doubt most of these "allies" would have fought against the homosexuals fifty years ago. Fought against the blacks one hundred and fifty years ago. Etc. etc. They are the followers, not who they fancy themselves to be. Not the trailblazers leading to freedom. They continue bigotry and discrimination against paedosexuals and children.
