You're right on the money with your analysis here and I appreciate your being a true ally of our community. You've probably suffered more externally than most of us here. A lot of our struggles are internalized because we feel forced into the closet, into the shadows of society. Growing up as a MAP, you learn pretty early on to hide yourself away in order to avoid the onslaught.
