Long post LOL. I'll make a few personal points on the statements in bold.

1) Children never lie when they say they have been sexually abused

Children are just like the rest of us, they will lie. They will lie for self preservation, they will lie when they are angry with someone to get even so to speak. They will lie to get out of a trying situation. For example when they are being questioned by the police about potential abuse they will be bribed into lying. After many hours of questioning even adults fold in this situation. Children are not little innocent angles. Like the rest of us they are human and are subjected to human frailties like lying.

2) Every adult who commits genuine acts of sexual abuse against kids have and are primarily motivated by a sexual attraction to kids.

In SOT there were a few guys who rapped children,true rape, nothing consensual about it. These men were not attracted to children, they were not pedophiles or whatever definition one would use. They rapped the children because they were available, they did this because the child was weak and easier to manipulable then adults.Their words. With some of these people it was about power and control. They were not motivated by sexual attraction towards kids. It's a shame these type of people are grouped in with people who do care about children who had consensual relationships with them.

3) Kids have no real sexual desire.

This is just plan silly. I remember when I was a kid we had Playboys hidden out in the woods. I was about 7 or so when I was looking at them. I was curious about it. It was on a different level that I was latter in life but non the less I was interested in this at a young age. It's apart of us, we are sexual beings.

4) Kids were being sexually abused in truly horrific and often preposterous ways in the U.S.--and possibly across the world--by groups of mysterious and diabolical cultists who worshiped Satan and were abusing these kids in "honor" of the ultimate Lord of Evil.

People who've been abused is truly a bad thing, I won't make light of that. But the satanist and cult implications is nothing but reporters and the LEA stirring up a big pot of hysteria. Just like there's billions of dollars being spent on child porn. And of course it's all the most horrific ever seen. I feel bad for the children who are truly abused and forced to make child porn, but the media is making a massive mountain of hysteria out of this when it's only a small problem. The media has forced the legal system to make up draconian sentences for even naked pics. This whole thing has been a terrible down hill spiral which has no foreseeable end. I hope people like you Dissident and others can make an impact and reverse this outrageous trend we are now in.

5) Innumerable people who were sexually abused in their childhood were so traumatized by the alleged abuse that they repressed the memory deep into their subconscious, which could subsequently be retrieved at any point in their adulthood by deep hypnosis.

This is a particularly scary thing. The therapist can suggest things which the patient may interpret as repressed memory of abuse. My ex wife went through this after we suppurated. It was "determined" that her grandfather abused her when she was a toddler. He ws dead at this point so he could not be questioned or accused. I really think this technique of digging out suppressed information is just a crock of shit. I remember things when I was quite young. Memories of things that happened when was about 2 or 3. Nothing bad happened. I wasn't abused. I certainly would remember such an event. And yes I do remember bad things that happened while being a child. I remember all those clearly.

6) All cases of what is legally considered child pornography are always produced by adults and never by the minors themselves

This is laughable. Of course with sexting being in the news it's a proven fact children can make child porn. And before the Internet? There were insta matic cameras, video cameras. Heck we've had cameras since the 19th century so I would imagine children who've had access to these things have made child porn. Children are curious and sexuality is one of the biggest curiosities known to man so it's only natural children at times would make this stuff. Also as time marches on what was once considered not to be porn magically has become child porn.

7) The brains of adolescents are inherently faulty due to innate biological factors and thus they have an inherent tendency to make poor decisions that necessitate denying them most of their civil rights and keeping them under the control of their parents and other adults for their own good.

In todays society children are not given a chance to prove that they can be responsible. Childhood has artificially has been extended to young adulthood. People in past generations did fine when they had responsibility. Now of course there still has to be rules so the young won't be put into situations which they truly can't handle, but this has been discussed on GC ad nauseam so I won't get into this deeper at the moment.

8) Mutually consensual sexual contact between anyone today considered to be 'minors' and those who are adults is always traumatizing for the younger person and will likely cause lifelong psychological 'damage' to them, no matter how much the minor in question may have enjoyed and desired the experience.

I just wonder where this school of thought ever came from? If someone is rapped they will be traumatized. Nobody really questions that, but when people who are involved in consensual relationships gets accused of rape is another incredibly bad injustice. The LEA throws the adult in jail, and subjects them to prison,therapy,and the ever popular SOR. The child gets subjected to therapy and is told how awful the adult was for doing this, after years and years of this it's no wonder why the child is traumatized. It's not from the relationship,it's from societies twisted agenda of control. Society whines adults who have relationships with children is about power and control. It seems to me they are the ones with this problem. I suggest (not really) that everyone go through the legal system, then you will see real power and control issues.

Well Diss, this is my opinion on the first group of bold statements which you wrote this essay on. Good job on this, it's always interesting to read what you write.
