In SOT there were a few guys who rapped children,true rape, nothing consensual about it. These men were not attracted to children, they were not pedophiles or whatever definition one would use. They rapped the children because they were available, they did this because the child was weak and easier to manipulable then adults.Their words. With some of these people it was about power and control. They were not motivated by sexual attraction towards kids.

How did the people treating the sex offenders react to these types you mention here?

Did they not believe them, and try to convince them that they are attracted to kids?

Or did they believe them. In which case did they have different treatment methods for such people that were different from the ones that are preferentially attracted to kids?
