Funding should not be an issue here, the chatrooms already exist, all three of them, if the webmasters shut down two of them it saves money not cost more, and setting it up should be as easy as changing the link where it says "Chatroom" to just one of the three existent ones with a new name.

But I think you misunderstand my role here, I am not in charge of anything, this is proposal from a user point of view and you saying that it is a nice idea it shows that for those who just want somewhere to chat this idea would be beneficial, more people, more debate, fun, interaction. The hard part is to get the webmasters to agree on who manages the chatroom. But perhaps two of them could do this if not all three.
