Decades ago I spent a few months in two kibbutzes (kibbutzim) in Israel, and though I am not a religious person, those places and names oozing history made a strong impression on me, and some songs too. Workdays in those kibbutzes were short, so I had time to go around in that country, and besides I was free between those two kibbutzes and also after the last kibbutz -- I spent time around the Red Sea before going back home.
