You seem to have your head on straight. Why not go on a few dates and try to get a better feel of how things might go? They could either give you more clarity, or just as well, make you see it's actually not a good fit anyway, so all the complicated stuff wouldn't need any more thinking over anyway.

I hope it goes the way it's meant to, and I am routing for you to find happiness and something special. We all search for having something special. Ugh, don't I know it.
