Amusingly enough

Usually the ugliest outfits to me to me where the "sexy" ones. Give me a beautiful lyrical dance in a pretty white leotard any day. The one that led to the prosti-tot comment or the ones where they said they felt like they didn't have clothes on where awful.

Maybe there would be a moral panic over the sexualizing of the girls. The thing is as I said they don't have to to make me want to watch it. And they can certainly drop that aspect of the show easily. But, the original was cancelled because of some questionable comments Abby made about Black people.

It's also the growing up on camera that's rare. The having almost weekly snapshots of a girl over years and years. Since even tv shows like sitcoms film all a girls scenes in like one month she can go away one season looking like she is 10 and come back looking like she is 18 with no in between.
