Has this thought ever come to your mind?

Someone that you have known for 5 years, or 10 years, or 30 years, or even 50 years, suddenly contacts you and says: I have considered this very carefully and come to a conclusion that I don't want to have anything to do with a guy like you.

No, nothing like this has happened to me, but this thought sometimes comes to my mind.

And then the other person simply leaves and never gives you any explanation.
