I have known the first few tercets, or, ok, terzine by heart since the end of 1970s, when I was in Israel and this woman from New Jersey, US, gave me Inferno with the Italian text on the left and the English translation on the right.

A few weeks ago I memorized a few stanzas more, but now I am already forgetting them.
