But those closer to the war and maybe soon parties in the great war do not have to listen to Americans who shout their opinions from the relative safety of their own distant country and think they know the things better. (Yes, Alaska is near Russia, but the Russians probably would not attack that way...)

You failed to read my house building analogy. We do not need anything else than that now. Anyone who is criticizing the victimized countries and finding fault with them at this point is weakening the the house, the common front against the only aggressor, Putin.
