I'd include myself in that category. So I get where LG is coming from.

OTOH, girls often tend to think a circumcised male has cuter equipment. So all is not necessarily lost I suppose. Some of us just wish we got to decide for ourselves, and in these times, the only genital mutilation even worthy of discussion is the female kind, which is often a little enraging to those of the male variety. We also suspect the choice today is often based in religious beliefs within the medical community, rather than anything medically imperative or practical in this modern age of good hygiene- which becomes even more enraging for some.

I get it. Something about it is definitely not-cool, and still not being addressed in the larger round. That is why it persists.
