I would love to visit many places in Russia, and ride that hella long train as well. I know there are visitors allowed inside those walls. With enough time and money, I'd educate myself both by visiting cities and exploring rural areas and one or two lakes.

Of course, there are many other places around the world I find interesting, just not as much, given my memory as an American and how much of our identity we used to create by being opposed to an "other", and still do. The neocons are still beating that old drum. It's downright embarrassing for anyone with a brain who sees the US and NATO dumping military assets on their borders.
