I am looking into the possibility of not only archiving the historical posts, but also making them available on the new website in some form.

User registrations should all be preserved, but that is an item that would be worked out prior to anything happening.

We would also ensure that the site is safe to use.

The problem with waiting is that after almost two years, I am dubious as to whether this software update may ever happen.
