He was some big case in the Canadian courts.. I think his name was Robin (Robyn?)(sp). And I think he had stood trial for things he wrote, no visual material at all.

I ask because upon visiting a mutual friend somewhere up there, I had only missed his visit by a day or two. This wet behind the ears amateur just barely missing the chance of meeting a real and "notorious" writer in person, almost the CL version of a Hunter Thompson..
