relaxation vids seem to be popular lately

With all the stress being intentionally infused into the psyche of the masses, I can see why. It's so important to find ways to relax these days and combat it. Meditation, spiritual stuff, exercise, reading a book in a quiet place, or having a calming hobby that requires focus and shutting out the world for a while.. so many ways to get there, but we have to be intentional about it.

When I am having periods of insomnia, I seem to go the nature route with videos, especially the sound of steady rain with distant rumbles of thunder. I love those.

I was digging this one for a while, until I realized two things: The idiot who built the porch forgot to build an overhang so the rain wouldn't fly in, AND.. the video was only about 5 seconds long in an endless loop. For some reason I got angry and yelled at the screen that it was an inexcusable fraud, and then I REALLY couldn't sleep:/

..But, I could still see it being my (near) perfect hundred acre wood. Still pretty relaxing:)
