In recent times, marrying a girl younger than her late teens has been illegal. Therefore, paedophiles not marrying girls below her late teens is no evidence for his lack of respect for her, only evidence for his respect for law.

In earlier times and also in some distant places, men did and do marry girls younger than that. Evidence for such men´s motivation is sparse - but you cannot rule out that some of them were motivated by paedophilia.
