With COVID-19, the risk, if you're young, is not so much you getting it, but getting it, transmitting it, and killing old people.

As an aside, while I did smoke for about six months starting when I turned 18 and could buy tobacco products, since that time I've always thought it was disgusting and don't understand why anyone does it.

Also, I've never smoked a cigarette.
