I think it's a shame that you are leaving the community, again. I hope you change your mind.

In my small experience, no one has ever had a problem with you speaking your mind. It seems more that whenever anyone politely disagrees with you, you get angry, put them down and personally insult them. I've never retaliated with such language, but you can't be confused when others do.

I don't know exactly who you're referring to in your OP, but I'm probably among these 'new members' you mention. I don't consider myself a feminist, but I tend to defend it when people irrationally call it 'the world’s most dangerous terrorist movement.' Conversely, I would criticize the views of those who considered it 'the greatest thing in the world.' As for researching different points of view, that's pretty much what I do with my life. It's fair to criticise the views of other people, but it's arrogant and insulting to assume they are 'uneducated', 'ignorant' or 'pathetic' - one could just as easily turn such words against you.

Anyway, I really do wish you the best and I hope you find peace in your life, for I have grown to consider you a friend in the short amount of time I've known you.
