That's a nice story sadlife, it sounds like you've been having a nice little moment, even that kind of girl-time would be precious for me. I would be happy with just some eye contact - I think a cuddle would stop my heart at this point!

And yes, as someone else has said, children seem to sense our love for them. They gravitate towards it because society leaves children feeling so unloved these days, and it's sad. I think we have a unique role to play in that regard.
