It's been good knowing you, but I understand your point of view. We have had many good discussions here over the years, but I too have felt that the time has come to move on.

I expect I will still come by occasionally, but I don't expect to be as active as I once was.

I am proud to have known many wonderful people here, and am glad that GirlChat has been around for those who need it. At the same time I do not presume that just because someone is attracted to children that this makes them a moral person, much less a moral authority. Pedophiles are just people like anybody else: some good, some bad, most indifferent.

And I have no doubt that GirlChat has made the world a better place, in numerous ways beyond the question of intergenerational relationships. It would be difficult to overestimate the many good things our posters have done for the world.
