Crossing state lines to meet a 12-year-old girl is potentially very much a felony. That's not the reason I'm not going to do it, though. I'm not doing it because I have enough respect for the young lady to wait until we know each other better, and have cleared any possible legal problems that could cause distress to her. I also have enough respect for MYSELF to not want to come across as the desperate creepy predator you seem to think Girl-Lovers are. Respect. You should try it sometime.

As for being a carny, it was good enough for PT Barnum, the founder of show business as we know it. It is an environment in which someone who brags about unverified accomplishments, or who gives unsolicited advice (especially to a man of obviously far more experience) would not last five seconds.

I didn't mention that I have also appeared as a guest speaker at Johns Hopkins University (just at the student sci-fi convention, but stil...) at which I openly discussed the topics of Girl-Love and MAP rights, that I have been authorized to professionally scout talent for an upcoming film production at major media conventions, that I count fascinating people like John Waters and Dweezil Zappa among my acquaintances (I even worked with the latter on his 2001 TV series, "Weird Worlds"), etc. All can be verified, but I didn't want to come across as an ass. However, it looks like someone here is setting a precedent for that.
