You really don't see the cruelty in playing her for a fool? In taking advantage of her lack of knowledge to trick and decieve her?
People don't take the life goals, feelings, hopes, and dreams, desires, and wants of little girls seriously. Adults think it's just childhood fantasy. I think she was serious. I think she actually expected a real marriage. I think she expected to go home with him and be his legit wife.
