A hundred or so years ago, women were not considered full people. A political movement called feminism slowly, gradually corrected this. At this time then there was an enormous social movement promoting women's rights and nothing promoting men's rights at the exact moment that gender equality was obtained. So now we're dealing with a situation where society is blindsided and men are oppressed to some extent. If you look at the history it's not due to malevolence, quite the opposite really. We're being treated like shit because society is stupid. Look at the "me too" movement - the whole problem is because society can't talk about sex, and can't talk about rape, and women for whatever social reasons cannot or simply do not report rape. This inability to talk about sex is the same problem that's fucking us. We aren't allowed to talk about how, that twelve year old is sexy and I respect her and want her to do well in school. No, we have to ignore her and pretend we don't like her. Is that even good for her? Isn't she lonely? Do young women not want platonic relationships with older men who respect her but don't want to sexually take advantage of her?
We can't talk about this shit. We can't even ask those questions. The cap is on the bottle and that genie messing us up. ![]() |
