"Unless the career goal is to become a housewife"
While that is an uncommon career goal for modern Western 20somethings it is still true that if this is her single minded focus, do NOT expect her to set it aside to cater to your preferences. If you aren't ready to settle down or have kids, some might be willing to wait or compromise, but if this is essential to her adult identity and you catch her mid-trajectory, expect to be kicked to the curb if you would stand between her and this goal.
Funny, back when this was more common, or even back when marriage by ones mid-20s was an obligation, everyone knew that the young woman looking for husband material had no time to waste on those who didn't want a wife. And they wouldn't have considered her particularly pliable in any relationship goals that were incompatible with her securing her future before the expiration date.
I can't imagine her having kind words for the party who knowingly allowed her to fill up her dance card at the cotillion with men who were otherwise committed when they knew that she was there seeking eligible batchelors.
