So, how important is she to you? Right now, it sounds like you have a pretty stable life and a future that's easy to plan. Do you think you will regret it down the road if you let her go? Do your own cost-benefit analysis. Will the social backlash to both you and her be worth the relationship? How long-term do you intend to take the relationship? If you're risking your entire social life like this, I don't think it'd be wise to do so for a short relationship.

Sit down, try to remove all the emotions from your decision making and determine whether the cost will be worth the benefit.
