As a lot of the posters said talk to a
lawyer, that would be wise.

First of all try to look at it from your families
view point.

You tell them you're a pedophile, you work with
children and hang out with people under 18.

This to them is a very enormous red flag. They
are concerned for you and for the children which
they think you may molest.

If you stay where you are you should change your
behavior. First get a different job. A known pedo
working with kids does not look good.

Hanging out with people under 18 is fairly ambiguous
statement, the reason why I have no idea how old you
are or even the people under 18. You could be 19 hanging out
with people who are 17, or a 40 yr old guy hanging out
with 10 yr olds. Which a vastly different.

Depending on the age difference you may be best not
hanging out with the kiddies, that will be nothing
but trouble for you if you continue this.

You may be telling the truth about not ever offending
but the problem people just don't believe you. For
you being in close contact with children just doesn't
look good.

You either will have to change because your family
won't or you will have to move somewhere else.
