No what it does is protect both parties when the honeymoon is over. It is great to think in terms of absolutes but that is not reality.

Sure it is great to think that love is absolute and will survive time but that is naive to say the least. People of all ages do things when in love that they think will never end who later regret it because love does not last some times.

It is simplistic and naive to think that a certain situation will define your entire lifes feelings. Things change. And what you thought was a great idea at one point can become a nightmare later on.

Only those with no experience can suggest such a course of action. Today: "Oh let's post pics of us together on the web to show our love." Tomorrow: "I wish I had never posted that pic - you are an asshole."

Or do you really think that a love affair with a little girl will always work out? If so, then you have no real life experience with a partner of any age.

Philosophy is fun but life is a bitch.

"We agreed so it is a beautiful thing." Until they disagree. Then what?

The absolutes by MAA's are simply nonsense.

Why not be honest? "Hey, I would love to see a pic of a little girl." No qualifications or excuses or nonsensical arguments.
